Checking Permissions
If some scripts on your sites do not work due to the incorrectly defined file and folder access permissions, use the Check permissions function to check and restore the proper access permissions to enable the smooth running of your domains.
To check and correct permissions on domains:
- On your Home page, select the checkboxes corresponding to the domain names you want to perform check permissions on.
- Click
Check permissions. - Adjust the settings as required:
- Leave the Check-only mode checkbox selected to run the checking in the read-only mode, when the permissions are only checked (along with reporting errors) but not fixed. To fix the permissions, clear the Check-only mode checkbox.
- Leave the Send notification by e-mail checkbox selected to receive report on the checking by e-mail. By default the administrator's e-mail address appears in the input field. You can specify the e-mail address you need in this field.
Click OK. Plesk starts checking permissions.
