Managing Backup Files
Domain backups are stored in separate backup repositories for each domain you are hosting. They are accessed by clicking the required domain name on your home page and clicking
Backup. You can manage these backup repositories by:
- Uploading backup files stored on another computer
- Downloading backup files to another computer
- Removing redundant backup files from backup repository
To upload backup file to the backup repository:
- Click the domain name you need on your Home page.
- Click
Backup in the Tools group. - Click Browse... and select the required backup file.
- Click Upload.
- Click OK.
The backup file will be uploaded to the backup repository.
To upload backup file to the backup repository from FTP:
- Click the domain name you need on your Home page.
- Click
Backup in the Tools group. - Click FTP Account Properties.
- Specify the path to the FTP server, FTP credentials (login and password) and base FTP directory in the corresponding fields.
- Click OK. This will return you to the previous screen.
- Click Browse... and select the required backup file.
- Click FTP Upload.
- Click OK.
The backup file will be uploaded to the backup repository.
To download backup file from the backup repository:
- Click the domain name you need on your Home page.
- Click
Backup in the Tools group. - Click the
icon corresponding to the backup file you wish to download. - Select the location where you wish to save the backup file and click Save.
The backup file will be downloaded from the backup repository.
To remove backup file from the backup repository:
- Click the domain name you need on your Home page.
- Click
Backup in the Tools group. - Select a checkbox corresponding to the backup file you wish to remove.
- Click
Remove Selected. - Confirm removal and click OK.
